It looks inevitable that security of payment legislation will be introduced in Hong Kong in 2016 or 2017, and when it is implemented the system of adjudication will drastically alter the nature of dispute resolution where disputes arise during a construction project.  In this session we aim to explain some of the processes of adjudication, in order to help prepare parties for the arrival of adjudication, to enable them to operate within the tight timeframes proposed, and to understand the wider implications of adjudication upon systems of certification, valuation, and project management.
