JOINT CPD WITH CEM (The College of Estate Management)

The first part of this CPD will provide an overview of the use of BIM for managing project data. It will emphasise the need for BIM Protocols and demonstrate the use of model outputs for time and cost management. Use of project information during the operation of the building will also be addressed.

At the heart of effective use of BIM is the need for collaborative working to support sharing appropriately structured data. To achieve this goal, internationally agreed standards are required.

Second part of this CPD will give a brief on the application of BIM in Hong Kong construction industry.
