讲师	:	Ms NG Mee-chi Senior Building Surveyor/Fire Safety 2, Buildings Department HKIA, RA, AP(A) Ms NG qualified as an architect and an AP in the 90’s, started work in a private consultant firm and then joined the government service for many years. Mr CHOW Wai-keung, Keith Senior Building Surveyor/Fire Safety 3, Buildings Department MHKIS, RPS(BS) Mr CHOW qualified as a building surveyor in the 90’s, started working in a private surveyor consultant company and then joined the government service for many years. Mr SZE Kun-fu Senior Station Officer/Building Improvement Division 1, Fire Services Department BBA, GIFireE Mr. SZE had joined the Fire Services Department since 2005. He worked as operational station officer engaging in fire-fighting duties in various fire stations before posted to Building Improvement Division in 2012. He now engages in the enforcement of Cap. 502, and Cap. 572.

详情	:	In this seminar, Ms NG, Mr CHOW and Mr SZE will go through the background, the purpose and the requirements under the Fire Safety (Commercial Premise) Ordinance Cap. 502 and the Fire Safety (Buildings) Ordinance Cap. 572 aiming to give an overview of the ordinances. In particular, the speakers will also talk about how to comply with the fire direction issued by the BD and the common difficulties that the owners would encounter in submitted the improvement proposals. Some examples under the flexible and pragmatic approach adopted by FSD, including installation of Improvised Sprinkler System in existing buildings. There will be an Q&A session, if time permits.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.
