讲师	:	Mr. Steven Yip & Mr. Brian Liu of Minter Ellison Steven Yip is a partner in the Projects, Infrastructure and Construction group of Minter Ellison and has over 16 years of experience. He practises in the areas of construction law, dispute resolution and major projects in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific region. He has been involved in numerous mediations, arbitrations and litigations, including several high profile cases on behalf of public sector clients and major contractors. He has presented on topics relating to the new Competition Ordinance and advised clients/industry participants as to how to get ready for the full implementation of the new law. He is recognized as a 'leading lawyer' by various legal directories. Brian Liu is an associate in the Projects, Infrastructure and Construction group of Minter Ellison. He has been involved in a variety of construction disputes, representing employers and contractors alike. He has a keen interest in competition law, and has taken an active role in keeping clients up-to-date with the latest developments in the run-up to the Competition Ordinance's full implementation by the end of the year.

详情	:	Hong Kong's Competition Ordinance will finally come into full effect on 14 December 2015. Businesses throughout Hong Kong have very little time left to ensure their operations comply with the new law before they risk prosecution. This seminar will set out the most critical dos and don'ts to avoid falling foul of the new law, with a focus on the construction industry. During the talk, participants will be given practical examples and scenarios to help better understand the concepts.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
