详情	:	BS Probationers undertaking the APC Practical Task 2017 were engaged in the Cheung Sha Wan Complex Project to provide temporary community housing for 5 years in two clusters of early post-war tenement buildings fronting Castle Peak Road and Un Chau Street in Cheung Sha Wan. In the Practical Task 2017, the candidates were asked to advise, inter alia: (1) how community housing could be provided in the upper floors of the Castle Peak Road cluster for 4 to 6 person families; (2) what beneficial use can be put in the ground storey incorporating cocklofts of this cluster; (3) how the Un Chau Street cluster could be used for associated facilities to serve the community; (4) how the separating service lane could be diverted so that the two clusters could be amalgamated to form one complex. Many remarkable projects have been presented and a number of these presentations are now on display by their authors to explain their innovative ideas with a view to exchanging views with the visitors. Short briefings on relevant issues of the project will also be presented by some expert Building Surveyors between 7 pm and 8 pm. This Exhibition cum Forum is open to all members, probationers and students of the BS Division. Admission is free but advance booking is required. Light refreshments will be provided.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
