讲师	:	Professor Iu Ting-kwok, MH B.A (Hons), M.A. Arb. DR, FCIArb, HKMAAL Accredited Mediator (General & Family), HKMAAL Family Mediation Supervisor TK is a practising solicitor and mediator. He has mediated over 400 cases since 2010. He is a lead trainer in HKMAAL accredited general mediation courses and is also a HKMAAL assessor. TK speaks at various mediation seminars and workshops both in Hong Kong and overseas. Academically, TK is an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Law at HKU. He is also an adjunct professor at HKSYU and trains Hospital Authority healthcare professionals in the capacity as an adjunct assistant professor of the JC School of Public Health and Primary Care, Faculty of Medicine at CUHK. Since 2012, TK is the Chairman of the Special Committee on Evaluative Mediation and is a member of the Steering Committee on Mediation appointed by the Secretary for Justice. TK is also the founder of Asia Conflict Resolution Institute.

详情	:	The seminar will provide an overview on the recent development of mediation in Hong Kong, from the launching of Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited (HKMAAL) to the set up of the Special Committee on Evaluative Mediation under the Steering Committee on Mediation of the Secretary for Justice in 2017. In particular, the speaker will discuss about the impact of the enactment of Apology Ordinance (Cap. 631) to mediation. The speaker will also share his view and observation on upcoming development of mediation in Hong Kong.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.
