详情	:	Speaker Sr Leung Shou Chun is a specialist in the land surveying. He is Managing Director of Leung Shou Chun Land Surveying Consultants Limited, providing consultancy services for customers with all the measurement services as well as the boundary issues. Sr Leung is the current Alliance of Authorized Land Surveyor Chairman, the Adjunct Professor of HKPolyU and the former Principal Government Land Surveyor (Lands Department) in 1996, the former HKIS President in 1990 and the former HKAAST President in 2000. Sr Leung is also an author and recently published a book “地界迷津——從百多年前的丈量約份圖說起”. Abstract Part 1 – Land Boundary Surveying In this session, Sr Leung will share the land resumption and general boundary matters including how to interpret aerial photographs to provide historical evidence; the research and re-establishment of the missing lot(s); the study of aerial photo for evaluating boundary evidence through some previous cases such as the consultation survey on the land status of a historical grave in Wong Tai Sin; and the structural deformation survey of Siu Sai Wan Sports Stadium. Part 2 – Adverse Possession In this session, Sr Leung will mainly share the handle of the land litigation, the verification of adverse occupation of landed properties and how to provide service for the boundary dispute/adverse possession cases. Some real cases will be discussed. 1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
