讲师	:	Sr Gigi Mok and Sr Anderson Lam Sr Gigi Mok is working for Caritas HK as a project manager for a new building project called Caritas Institute of Higher Education, which was formerly known as Caritas Francis Hsu College and established in 1985. The new campus adjoining the existing Caritas Bianchi College of Careers was envisioned as a step towards the establishment of the first Catholic University in Hong Kong – Saint Francis University. The Campus was to inaugurate an identity for this University and to serve as a friendly neighborhood campus providing state-of-art facilities for learning and career development opportunities. The new campus comprises multimedia lecture theaters, classrooms, tutorial rooms, laboratories, offices, library, chapel, café and roof gardens for 3,200 students. This project was presented with the Winner Award and the Grand Award under the Client/ Client’s Representative group of the New Development category during the Building Surveyor Award 2019 (BSA 2019) ceremony held on 23 July 2019. Sr Anderson Lam is working for David S.K. Au & Associates Ltd. as a Director and project manager for a prescribed repair and renovation project for a private estate called Mei Foo Sun Chuen Stage IV, involving the common part of a fully occupied residential development comprising of 12 blocks residential buildings, car park and commercial portion. Throughout the planning and management of this repair and renovation work to the development aged over 45 years, difficulties were encountered in repairing extensive elements under tight budget as well as in improving substandard designs and materials in order to achieve a more sustainable and safe environment. Meanwhile, since the entire development was fully occupied with residents, specific and practical works arrangement was also adopted to minimize nuisances. The project has been eventually managed to be carried out in a cost-effective and down-to-earth way without imposing heavy financial burden to owners. This project was presented with the Winner Award under the Consultant group of the Maintenance and Rehabilitation category during the BSA 2019 ceremony held on 23 July 2019.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
