详情 :

Earlier, HKIS-PFMD appointed Dr Joseph Lai to carry out a 6-month project: “A Study on the Use of Building Information Modelling in the Property/Facility Management Industry in Hong Kong”. Under the project, an extensive literature review was conducted, resulting in the identification of a range of barriers to, and enablers for, the use of BIM. Notable overseas and local successful cases of BIM applications were also reviewed. Through a survey, the opinions of PFM practitioners on the barriers and enablers were solicited. On the basis of the survey result, a series of recommendations are made for the way forward in promoting the use of BIM in the PFM industry in Hong Kong. In this CPD event, Dr Lai will present the process and findings of the project.
