讲师	:	Dr. Joseph Lee Medical Doctor Dr. Lee is the Chairman of Biocline Healthcare Services Limited, a healthcare specialist contractor in Hong Kong. Prior to joining Biocline, Dr. Lee practised as a surgeon for over 40 years and worked at The Hospital Authority as Head of Corporate Services at the Head Office, and Hospital Chief Executive of various hospitals. He graduated from The University of Hong Kong in 1976 and was trained in surgery at Queen Mary Hospital. Mr Edmond Lau Edmond Lau has been employed as Division Manager of Maquet Hong Kong Ltd. under Getinge Group since October 2004. He is now the Sales Director Surgical Workplaces of Getinge Group Hong Kong Ltd. He has 25-year experience in business of healthcare sector.

详情	:	The modular construction becomes increasingly popular in Hong Kong construction industry because of its fast on-site installation, less wet trade on site, safer working environment, higher quality, more flexible and environmentally friendly in nature, etc. Nowadays the Hong Kong Government put effort in developing more hospital projects to meet the high demand of current medical services. This presentation will focus on modular operating theatre (MOT) in hospital construction as follows: To introduce VARIOP Modular Operating Room Systems Complete Solutions from One Source, To give more information on its offsite prefabrication, on-site installation, components, requirements or specifications for medical needs, logistic, etc., To share challenges in terms of onsite installation, To talk about the flexibility of assembly and maintenance, such as replacement of building services concealed inside the MOT panels after completion of works, To share practical experience of a completed MOT construction project, hospital case study in Hong Kong, To compare with conventional Operating Theatre construction in hospital project, and To give some cost information for MOT.
备注	:	The event will be conducted online via ZOOM. Successful registrants will be notified separately via email with the web link and password in due course to the online event . 1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

1.	I confirm that I fully understand and accept the risk of joining the above visit. Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
