详情 :

GPD is pleased to have invited Mr. Alan Yip, Partner of Mayer Brown and Sr Alnwick Chan, Chairman of GP Division to speak on this zoom CPD.

Since the Court of Final Appeal decisions in Fully Profit case, the acquisition and redevelopment of old buildings in the Kowloon City district have been hampered by the "one house" covenant in Government leases.  The principles established in the Fully Profit case are extended to other areas in Hong Kong with covenants in Government leases of similar nature.

Mr. Alan Yip and Sr Alnwick Chan will be co-hosting this CPD event to share the challenges in recent years when handling building plan approval of developments that fall under or appear to fall under the Fully Profit case.  It is often the case that the factual circumstances underlying the relevant Government leases have been overlooked.  The webinar will also cover several updated Court cases after the Fully Profit case and LAO Practice Note 3/2000A published by the Lands Department.

Alan and Alnwick have accumulated a vast amount of experience to share with the audience.
