詳情	:	Dr. Neo Chan is a Senior BIM Manager of the CVP Laboratory, the Poly U. He has been focusing and working on the development of the BIM and virtual construction since 2005. He is one of the BIM pioneers in HK who investigates and provides BIM services and Virtual Construction for Architectural / Engineering / Construction (A/E/C) industry. Regarding the consultant projects using these technologies, he has made a lot of practical BIM applications on the projects of Housing Authority, Developers and Main Contractors. His vision is to provide life cycle management of buildings using BIM technologies in order to improve the productivity and reduce pollution to the earth. To share his knowledge with the industry and speed up the BIM adoption, he has been focusing on the BIM consultancy projects and providing the BIM courses in CVP Laboratory at the Poly U. Itinerary 11:35 am – Gathering at Core Y of podium, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hunghom, Kowloon 1:15 pm – Dismiss (Successful registration will receive details of the visit) Innovation Tower is a 16-storey academic building for the School of Design, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The building has an overall height of 76m and a gross floor area of approx. 25400m2. The building has an irregular, curved and sloping envelope. The external façade system composes of Fair-face Concrete Walls, Single-Glazed Semi-Unitized Curtain Wall System looped with 3D Twisting Architectural Fins, Aluminum Claddings and Louvres. Building Information Modeling has also been used in this project. 1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
