詳情	:	Organizers: The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (Quantity Surveying Division) [HKIS (QSD)] The Hong Kong Institute of Value Management [HKIVM] Processes for managing project costs, schedule, quality, value, risk and implementation are plentiful. Still there can be problems with delivering optimally performing programs, projects and services! Why should this be? This presentation introduces the critical-thinking process of value assurance. Closing the performance/value gap successfully is not just a “quick fix”, but it is attained through a series of pre-emptive, integrating actions that are conducted from end to end, i.e. throughout the life cycle –from the investment decision phase, through development and execution, to routine operation and ultimate disposition. Martyn brings over 40 years of valuable experience. He will describe the basis of a scalable process to ensure a: Strategic navigational aid for best value programs & projects that bring about significant or rapid change Stakeholder consensus building aid for complex situations Set of program analytical and remedial tools & techniques Continuing “health check” for reviewing program and critical project capabilities for meeting stakeholder needs.
備註	:	Notes FULL; NO WALK IN AVAILABLE FREE CPD talk for HKIS and HKIVM members (see remarks below) This is a joint CPD of HKIS(QSD) and HKIVM. All registrations with cheque payments must be through HKIS office as per attached Reservation Form (for CPD on 25 October 2013). Online registration is NOT accepted for this CPD event. Payment should be paid by cheque made payable to “Surveyors Services Ltd.” and sent to HKIS at Room 1205, 12/F, Wing On Centre, 111 Connaught Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. Successful registration will be notified by email and attendance sheets will only be distributed to attendees immediately after the CPD talk. For members of HKIS and HKIVM attending for this CPD talk on 25 October 2013, the cheques paid by them will be refunded immediately after the CPD talk.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
