Kao Auditorium – An Oval Golden Building) 9:30 am - Presentation about Science Park (a) Development (b) Project Particulars of Phase 3a and 3b (c) Commercial / Procurement Issues (d) Sustainable Features 10:00 am - Site Walk 11:30 am - Questions and Answers 12:00 noon - Dismiss at Science Park (The scheduled time may be changed so as to suit the actual conditions on the date of the visit.) (Successful registration will receive details of the visit.) Hong Kong Science Park provides world-class infrastructure for business partners and visitors. The 22-hectare waterfront site contains 220,000 m2 of office space, spreading among 20 state-of-the-art laboratory fitted buildings in Phases 1 and 2. Following on the success of Phases 1 and 2 developments, Hong Kong Science Park Phase 3 was ticked off in 2010 upon the funding approval by the government. It incorporates an array of practical green features and initiatives. The new eco-friendly development in Science Park, Phase 3, exemplifies commitment to a sustainable future. On 17 August 2013, QSD organized a visit to the site of Hong Kong Science Park Phases 3a/b, which has been completed for handing over. QSD is going to organize another visit to Hong Kong Science Park Phases 1, 2 & 3a/b on 11 October 2014. In this event, the speaker will brief and present to members about (a) Development, (b) Project Particulars and Challenges of Phase 3a and 3b, (c) Commercial / Procurement Issues, and (d) Sustainable Features of Science Park. After the briefing and presentation, members will be guided to visit the buildings in Phases 1, 2 & 3a/b.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

1.	I confirm that I fully understand and accept the risk of joining the above visit. Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
