詳情	:	Itinerary : 9:45 am - Gathering at the Main Entrance of Stanley Sewage Treatment Works 10:00 am - Visit to Stanley Sewage Treatment Works 11:30 am - Dismiss at Stanley Sewage Treatment Works (Successful registration will receive details of the visit.) Stanley Sewage Treatment Works (“Stanley STW”) is a secondary sewage treatment works, built in caverns. It serves a population of over 27,000 in Stanley, Ma Hang, Tai Tam, Chung Hom Kok and Red Hill areas, which currently produces 8,800 m³ of sewage per day. Sewage is collected by outlying sewage pumping stations and transferred to Stanley STW for further treatment. As a key element of the Stanley Sewerage and Sewage Disposal Scheme drawn up in 1989, Stanley STW was designed and constructed with the latest technology. To maintain the natural environment of the area, Stanley STW was built inside three large caverns, each about 120 metres long, 15 metres wide and 17 metres high together with over 450 metres of road access, ventilation tunnels and shafts. Not only visually unobtrusive, the underground works also spared the neighbourhood with unacceptable environmental impact both during construction and its daily operation. Stanley STW is the first of its kind in Southeast Asia. Stanley STW with a design flow of 11,600m³ per day was constructed from November 1990 to February 1995.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

1.	I confirm that I fully understand and accept the risk of joining the above visit. Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
