講師	:	Sr Benny K B Kwok FCPA (Practising), FCA, MCIJ, MCIOB, MRICS Benny is a reputable forensic accountant in litigation support, dispute analysis and fraud investigation, and is the author of many published titles including Financial Analysis in Hong Kong (2nd Edition) and Forensic Accountancy (2nd Edition). He has produced more than 100 expert reports and has attended as an expert witness in arbitration hearings, disciplinary proceedings as well as civil and criminal trials, at the District Court and the High Court, in respect of accounting, commercial and financial matters. He also served, under the court orders, as the single joint expert in civil proceedings, and sat on the Solicitors’ Disciplinary Tribunal and the Obscene Articles Tribunal for 9 years. Also, he was the Examiner for the CPA Qualification Programme of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants for 7 years.

詳情	:	Professional surveyors carry out valuation, asset appraisal and property consulting as well as take charge of the overall supervision and daily operation of properties and built facilities which all require the competencies to analyse and interpret the relevant financials relating to those assets, properties and facilities. Budgets, ledgers, projections, final accounts and financial statements are common communication channels amongst owners, clients, contractors, sub-contractors, managers, lawyers, regulators, end-users and other stakeholders. As these financials are full of technicalities and codified messages, those less well trained in the subject may not be able to unlock these messages. This seminar caters for the needs of professional surveyors, and seeks to bridge the gap between accounting, finance and surveying.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
