講師	:	Ir Tsang Ping Chiu, Paco, President of HKIVM Sr Thomas Wong, Council member of HKIVM Ir Tsang is a Chartered Civil Engineer by profession with more than 30 years’ experience in construction industry. He is a past President of Hong Kong Mediation Centre, Founding Director of Joint Mediation Helpline Office. Currently, he is a President of Hong Kong Institute of Value Management. He is a certified VM facilitator and he has substantial experience in conducting VM workshops for Government Departments. Sr Thomas Wong is a qualified Quantity Surveyor having over 20 years of experience with consultants and contractors handling pre- and post-contract quantity surveying duties of building, civil and M&E engineering, fitting out works, transmission overhead line and D&B projects in Hong Kong. Besides, he has hands-on experience in project co-ordination and management. He is also a certified VM facilitator.

詳情	:	This seminar provides an overview of Value Management, the speakers will talk about the techniques of creativity and how to apply creativity in Value Management (VM). What is the VM process? Why do we need to be creative in VM process? How to be creative and how to apply suitable creative techniques in VM?
備註	:	FULL (NO WALK IN AVAILABLE) Closing Date: 25 February 2016 1. This is a joint CPD amongst HKIS (BSD), HKIS (QSD), HKIVM & HKICM. All registrations with cheque payments must be through HKIS office as per attached Reservation Form [for CPD on 10 March 2016] 2. Online registration is NOT accepted for this CPD event. Payment should be paid by cheque made payable to “Surveyors Services Ltd.” and sent to HKIS at Room 1205, 12/F, Wing On Centre, 111 Connaught Road Central, Sheung Wan, Hong Kong. 3. Successful registration will be notified by email and attendance sheets will only be distributed to attendees immediately after the CPD talk. 4. For members of HKIS, HKIVM and HKICM attending for this CPD talk on 10 March 2016, the cheques paid by them will be returned when they attend the CPD talk.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.

3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
