講師	:	Ir Jacky Ng is the Technical Services Manager in The Hong Kong Jockey Club, who is responsible for operation and maintenance, project management on the corporate facilities and building services infrastructure. He graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University with a Bachelor of Engineering in Building Services Engineering and a Master of Science in Facility Management. He has 20 years’ engineering experience in facilities management, project management and building construction. He is a Chartered Engineer, Chartered Environmentalist and BEAM Pro. During the construction period of SCTC, Jacky was seconded from Facilities Management to the Project Management team for total 18 months. His major roles and involvement are: • Integration of FM, technical and operation & maintenance input for SCTC base building and fit-out projects such as BIM coordination, maintenance accessibility review, CMMS (Maximo) set-up, system optimization. • Development and implementation of Soft Landings approach, Project Management, Facilities Management and Stakeholders aligned with the smooth building infrastructure and systems handover plus initial set-up process from construction to building operation stage. • Implementation of maintenance strategy and technical services management for SCTC, including formulating the technical operation and maintenance plan, testing & commissioning and handover process for fit-out works that familiarize the users move-in, business operation reliability, as well as building sustainability.

詳情	:	Itinerary: 9:40 am Assembly/ Registration at Exit C, MTR Fo Tan Station, N.T. 9:50 am 10 minute-walk to SCTC 10:00 am Presentation by HKJC (including 10 minute-project video sharing) 10:45 am Site Tour guided by HKJC 12:20 am Group photo at SCTC 12:30 am Dismiss at SCTC (The scheduled time may change so as to suit the actual conditions on the date of the visit.) The new building, Sha Tin Communications and Technology Centre (SCTC) is significant to the Hong Kong Jockey Club in supporting to business growth and to deliver a new and better world-class working environment for staff. This has been the largest office move in Jockey Club history with over one thousand staff members being involved in this transition. Measuring a gross floor area of over 50,000 m², the building accommodates the Club’s Main Telebet Centre, an Integrated Call Centre, the IT Department, Broadcasting Department facilities including their television studios, and a Hong Kong Jockey Club College for ongoing development of Club employees. The new facility has been a significant undertaking for the Property - Facilities Management team of the Hong Kong Jockey Club. With a strong focus on sustainability, this building contains a lot of green features and environmental-friendly building facilities. The project is aiming for BEAM Plus Gold and LEED Gold certification.
備註	:	Closing date: 26 April 2016 Online registration is NOT accepted for this CPD event. Please fill in the attached Declaration Form together with Standard Reservation Form for this CPD event. All participating members shall arrange their own transport to Shatin Racecourse. While HKIS will arrange for insurance policy for the participants, members may consider taking out their own insurance policy to cover their own risks. First-come-first-served with duly completed Declaration Form, Standard Reservation Form and payment. Latecomers will NOT be picked up.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

1.	I confirm that I fully understand and accept the risk of joining the above visit. Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
