詳情 :

Most accidents are caused by lack of safety precautionary measures or safety procedures.  Employers and occupiers who are responsible for these provisions may face the risk of prosecution against failure to exercise duty of care to their employees or other persons, and possible hefty civil claims.  These duties are clearly stipulated in legislation in Hong Kong.

The seminar will address the duty of care of occupational safety & health for employers and occupier of industry. Two judgements from the Court of Final Appeal cases on fatal accidents in construction sites will be used as illustration and be discussed.

Prior identification of hazards can also reduce the chances and consequences of accidents. This seminar will also help to identify hazards, and to conduct risk assessments to develop controls to mitigate the risk of accidents.
