詳情	:	Itinerary: 6:45 p.m.– Registration and Networking 7:00 p.m. – Presentation on the opportunities and challenges of underground space development in the four selected Strategic Urban Areas (SUAs) (by the project consultant AECOM) Tsim Sha Tsui West Causeway Bay Happy Valley Admiralty/Wan Chai 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. – Q&A and Discussion (The scheduled time may change to suit the actual conditions on the date.) Background CEDD and PlanD launched the Stage 1 Public Engagement (PE) for the Pilot Study on Underground Space Development in Selected Strategic Urban Areas (the Study) on 7 November 2016. The Study aims to identify the opportunities and challenges of underground space development in the four selected Strategic Urban Areas (SUAs), namely Tsim Sha Tsui West, Causeway Bay, Happy Valley, and Admiralty/Wan Chai, explore suitable underground space development proposals within the areas and formulate Underground Master Plans for wider districts to guide future underground space development. The PE Digest is available in the following website:- http://www.urbanunderground.gov.hk In this presentation, the speakers will present the Study objectives, key considerations, development constraints and preliminary planning concepts to utilize underground space in the four SUAs for improving pedestrian connectivity, enhancing living environment and creating space with a view to address district issues and promote social development in a densely developed urban environment. The participants can exchange the views on the Study including the preliminary planning concepts, key considerations and potential uses of underground space.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
