講師	:	Professor Anselmo Reyes Mr. Anselmo Reyes is Professor of Legal Practice at Hong Kong University, a position he assumed in October 2012. Prior to that, he was a judge of the High Court of Hong Kong from 2003-12. As judge, he was in charge of the Construction and Arbitration List (2004-8) and the Commercial and Admiralty Lists (2008-12). He was called to the Hong Kong Bar in 1986, taking silk as Senior Counsel in May 2001. He was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1995. In April 2013, he became Representative of the Asia-Pacific Regional Office of the Hague Conference on Private International Law. He also practices as a commercial arbitrator and an advocate in arbitrations. He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a Fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators, and a CEDR Accredited Mediator. He is an Honorary Advisor of the College of Law at De La Salle University in Manila. He holds an AB (Economics) from Harvard and a BA (Law), LLM, and PhD from Cambridge.

詳情	:	The talk will cover the following:- The Law Reform Commission's recommendations in its Final Paper on Third Party Funding. The Government's legislation to implement the Law Reform Commission's recommendations on Third Party Funding. The nature of Class Arbitrations: Pros & Cons, Problems, Potential Solutions (Including possibilities opened up by Third Party Funding). Crowd-funding and Arbitration.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.
