講師	:	Mr. Andy Chan, MbSHK, MHKIBIM, Andy Chan is the first Autodesk certified road and highway BIM specialist in Hong Kong and is the Project Manager of Spatial Technology Limited, responsible for integrating BIM processes for asset management. In the last 10-years, Andy has successfully implemented BIM on various projects throughout the project development lifecycle, as well as assisting Government departments and design consultants to re-engineer the workflow with pilot projects. Andy holds a Bachelor degree in Land Surveying from Hong Kong Polytechnic University and a Master degree in Information Technology Management from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He is a professional member of the HKIBIM, as well as the founding member of the buildingSMART Hong Kong. Mr. Elvis Li, MbSHK, MHKIBIM, FCABE Mr. Elvis Li is the CEO of isBIM limited, an Asia-based award-winning BIM consultant located in Hong Kong, Singapore and 10 cities in China. Graduated from Building Surveying, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 1994, Elvis has been practicing with professionalism in the AEC industry for more than 23 years. He has over 15 years of professional experience in BIM. He has been providing BIM consultancy services and corporation BIM strategy for over 250 prestigious projects worldwide, with clients include the Hong Kong Housing Authority, Highways Department, URA, WKCDA, Henderson Land, Nam Fung Group, the Hong Kong Science and Technology Park, Goldin Properties, Japan Management and more than 80 renowned corporations. Over 40 of the projects have been awarded the BIM award. Elvis is Vice Chairman of buildingSMART Hong Kong, member of BIM Expert Committee of China Commercial Real Estate Association (CCREA), council member of China Engineering Graphic Society, founding member of Hong Kong Institute of Building Information Modeling (HKIBIM) and expert member of the Research of Chinese Building Information Modeling Standard Framework.

詳情	:	Building Information Modelling (BIM) has been widely promoted and adopted in recent years in Hong Kong and also other districts of the world. Although we may know the basic knowledge of BIM and may want to start the BIM application, but we will face a lot of questions on how to start the BIM. When we should start? How we can start? What key resources we should invest? A lot of questions would come out. In addition, what are the BIM market now and the potential? How to start the BIM application as business? What is the challenge, difficult and points to note, even like a very basic issues like staffs training, software, investment, etc. The two speakers, one is isBIM founder (Building Surveyor background), one is Spatial Technology (Land Surveyor background). They have actively provided BIM services in building and civil aspect respectively. They will share the experience on how to do business by using BIM, what is the market now in Hong Kong and China? And how they apply their surveyor background on the developing their BIM business.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

1.	I confirm that I fully understand and accept the risk of joining the above visit. Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
