講師	:	Ir C S Ho, General Manager of BEAM Society Ltd Ir Ho is practicing engineer as well as a lawyer. He graduated with BSc(Engineering) from HKU, then earned an MBA, a Post-graduate Diploma in Software Engineering, and PCLL from HKU; and LLB from Manchester Metropolitan University of UK. He is currently the General Manager of the BEAM Society Ltd, the Deputy Chairman of the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency, a Barrister-at-law at the High Court of Hong Kong, a consultant of Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute, and an Honorary Principle Lecturer of the University of Hong Kong, teaching engineering and legal subjects at both the graduate and post-graduate levels. Before joining the legal profession, Ir Ho had been working with the Hong Kong Housing Authority as the Chief Building Services Engineer, heading the Building Services Section responsible for the design and construction of BS installations of all the new public housing development projects. Ir Ho is a Chartered Engineer, a fellow of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers and a Corporate Member of the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE). He also serves as a committee member of the Building Services Discipline Advisory Panel of HKIE. Mr. Jimmy Law, MSc, BEng, BEc, LEED AP Senior Engineer of Telemax Environmental and Energy Management Limited Jimmy is currently a Project Engineer in Telemax Environmental and Energy Management Limited. He was graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Economics. He then proceeded to obtain a Master’s Degree in Built Environment from the University of New South Wales. He has been involved in research and consultancy for building sustainable design and building energy optimization from 2010, including air-conditioning system optimization, building energy audit and simulation, green building assessment, air ventilation assessment. He has a few publications which were presented in international journals and conferences.

The office of BEAM Society Limited (BSL) is situated at 1/F, Jockey Club Environmental Building, 77 Tat Chee Avenue, Kowloon Tong. BSL is the owner of the BEAM Plus Assessment Tools and the office achieved Platinum rating under BEAM Plus Interiors (BI) v1.0 Accreditation upon the renovation of the existing office itself. The renovation project is themed to epitomise the key concepts of BEAM Plus Assessment tools, i.e. providing a comfortable yet simple workplace with various green features illustrating how a balance of sustainability and working efficiency could be achieved at a modest budget.
備註	:	Closing date: Extend to 14 September 2017 Online registration is NOT accepted for this CPD event. Please fill in the attached Declaration Form together with Standard Reservation Form for this CPD event. All participating members shall arrange their own transport to Jockey Club Environmental Building, Kowloon Tong. While HKIS will arrange for insurance policy for the participants, members may consider taking out their own insurance policy to cover their own risks. First-come-first-served with duly completed Declaration Form, Standard Reservation Form and payment.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

1.	I confirm that I fully understand and accept the risk of joining the above visit. Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
