詳情 :

The affordability of housing in Hong Kong has been a paramount concern for the younger generations in recent years. In early 2017, Hong Kong Seek Road organised the City of Dreams (上車有望) competition where the generation of the future was invited to join and discuss innovative solutions to society’s current hot topics. In this thematic talk event, two winner teams from the youth will talk about their submissions and discuss the visions they propose from their winning entry. In particular, their focus on the needs of the ageing population and the use of innovative ideas from designs, inter-generational harmony, facilities sharing, greening, new mode of generation, to green and sustainable city planning.

Hong Kong Seek Road (HKSR) is a web-based information-sharing platform established by Sr Tony Tse Wai-chuen. HKSR provides a channel for dialogues and engagement in rallying positive ideas from the community on matters of land and housing, environment and transport, economic development and livelihood. In March 2017, HKSR launched "The City of Dreams 上車有望" Competition with themes in two main categories (1) designing an ideal city for a population of 100,000 on a 100 ha. site in Hong Kong; and (2) alternative and optimal use of “forgotten” spaces in Hong Kong. The competition result was announced on the 24th June 2017 and the Financial Secretary Mr. Paul Chan was the guest of Honor of the Prize Presentation Ceremony.
