詳情	:	In this talk, the speakers will share their experiences in adopting stainless steel potable water system with highlights on the following areas: 1. Recap and review Waterworks Regulations Requirements of plumbing installation Requirements for carrying out non-destructive tests and water sampling tests of heavy metals 2. Standard of stainless steel welded tubes and pipes Compare the difference between the standard of BSEN 10312, BSEN 10217-7 and BS 6362 stainless steel pipe application 3. Stainless steel fittings as specified in AS3688: 2016 Review the type test requirements between AS3688, BS EN 1254 and BS 8537 4. Comparison of operation procedures Importance of the sealing material properties Importance of cold form cutting for stainless steel pipe Fittings design characteristics 5. Intrinsic design crisis of press end fittings Investigate the key issues of system installation design to suit for stainless steel potable water system which lead to be safe, reliable and more than 50 years life cycle 6. Indicative costs between stainless steel system and copper system Analyze the cost difference between stainless steel system and copper system in terms of material cost and installation cost 7. Demonstration of cold form cutting and connection of stainless steel pipes Cold form cutting as per DWI of UK application 56.4.477 Installation requirements of AS3688: 2016 A demonstration of cutting and connection of stainless steel pipes by equipment [P.S. 1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
