講師	:	Sr Alnwick Chan, ACIArb FHKIS FRICS RICS Registered Valuer RPS(GP) Sr Alnwick Chan is a veteran GP surveyor qualified in 1987. He is a Fellow Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors (“HKIS”) elected in 2005. He is now in the position of Executive Director of Knight Frank Petty Ltd. Since leaving the Lands Department in 1993, he has specialized in land lease matters and advising clients on land policy, premium, land exchange and lease modification issues. He has been involved in numerous premium negotiations and advising client on revitalization projects, private treaty grants, Certificate of Compliance and building plan approvals, etc. He often appears at Lands Tribunal, High Court and arbitration hearings giving his expert opinion on values and compensation. Sr Chan has actively taken parts in many HKIS’s committees, conferences and CPD events.

詳情	:	There have been growing social concerns in Hong Kong about obtaining short-term leases for private usages such as gardens, swimming pools and tennis courts etc. With reference to a series of examples, Sr Alnwick Chan will share his views about effective short-term land management policy for the long-term development of Hong Kong.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

1.	I confirm that I fully understand and accept the risk of joining the above visit. Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
