講師	:	Sr Li Tak Hong, Dick (李德康測量師) Dick is Professional Project Manager and Surveyor with over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry in Hong Kong. During his 30 years, professional career, Dick has gained vast and varied practicing experiences in construction field. Currently, he is actively serving various sectors, institutes and associations in the construction industry in Hong Kong. Dick is the Chairman of Hong Kong Industrial Safety Association, Honorary Secretary of Hong Kong Institute Construction Manager, Technical Committee member of Hong Kong Building Rehabilitation Facilitation Services Limited of Urban Renewal Authority, Past-Chairman of The Institute of Clerks of Works and Construction inspectorate (Hong Kong), Council Member of Hong Kong Institute of Clerks of Works. He is also an active member in The Chartered Institute of Building, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and The Hong Kong Institution of Incorporated Engineers.

詳情	:	What is quality building? Although only accounting for less than 5% of the total building life during the construction period, it plays an essential impact on the life of the building. For that reason, technology, society, natural environment and aesthetics should be integrated into project planning, design, construction and technology methods. Therefore, the construction project design, technology, material selection and construction technology have a direct and indirect impact on the quality of the building. This seminar is to provide different perspectives and to show / share high quality buildings for participants. 何謂優質建築? 建築期只是佔全橦建築物的壽命少於5 %，但對建築物的生命影响深遠。因此規劃、設計、施工和使用，也需要將技術、社會、自然環境和美學納入考量。所以建築項目的設計，技術，選材與工藝都對建築的質量有著直接和間接的影響。本講座是為着提供不同角度, 來看優質建築給大家共同分享。

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

1.	I confirm that I fully understand and accept the risk of joining the above visit. Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
