講師	:	Andy CY Kwok is a barrister-at-law and an accredited mediator at Anthony Rogers Chambers. Having received legal training from both Hong Kong and Mainland China, Andy possesses a comprehensive understanding of the legal systems in these jurisdictions. As a versatile legal professional, Andy is actively engaged in a diverse civil and criminal practice. In his civil practice, Andy has garnered extensive experience in handling a broad spectrum of cases. This includes handling international arbitration with cross-border implications, property disputes, trusts and probate matters, company and insolvency issues, contract disputes, tort claims, and personal injury cases. Within the realm of matrimonial litigation, Andy frequently provides advice on financial aspects, including preliminary matters, as well as children-related issues in matrimonial litigation. Within the realm of criminal law, Andy has worked on a diverse range of cases encompassing sexual offenses, dishonesty-related offenses, immigration offenses, departmental summonses, violent crimes, and regulatory matters. Andy is a HKMAAL Accredited General Mediator. He possesses significant experience in mediating various civil disputes, including those with cross-border and cross-cultural dimensions. Notably, he has also been appointed as a mediator in legally aided cases involving general civil matters and matrimonial disputes. Andy’s dedication to ADR is underscored by his extensive training in family mediation, investor-State mediation and victim-offender mediation. In addition to his practical involvement, Andy has made extensive contributions to the mediation field through his published works. Noteworthy works include co-authoring a background paper for the UNCITRAL Working Group III Virtual Pre-Intersessional Meeting on the topic of "The Use of Mediation in ISDS." He has also authored the third edition of the Butterworths Hong Kong Alternative Dispute Resolution Handbook and served as an annotator for the Annotated Ordinances of Hong Kong (Mediation Ordinance). Furthermore, Andy has contributed to the third edition of the Hong Kong Mediation Manual, published by LexisNexis.

備註	:	For Face-to-Face: Prior online registration is required. Walk-in registration will not be entertained. Eating and drinking is not allowed at the Surveyors Learning Centre. For ZOOM: The event will be conducted online via ZOOM. Upon successful registration, the ZOOM link for joining the CPD event will be available in the CPD/PQSL profile under the "Member Area" of the HKIS website. On-line registration is not applicable for non-HKIS members. To register, please complete the CPD registration form and return with payment to the HKIS Secretariat. Please install the Zoom Application in advance at https://www.zoom.us/download. For Mobile phones, iPads & Android, install the ZOOM Cloud Meetings app from App Store or Play Store. For PC and Mac, download and install the Zoom Client for Meetings.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

1.	I confirm that I fully understand and accept the risk of joining the above visit. Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
