Revamping of PFMD APC Rules and Guidelines
As reported in Surveyors Times’ March 2018 issue, a task force was set up to review the Rules and Guidelines of the PFMD’s Assessment of Professional Competence (APC). It was noted that the spectrum of one of the Core Competencies – Property Management – was so wide that probationers may not be able to satisfy every requirement stipulated under the Rules and Guidelines throughout their professional trainings and experiences. With the endorsement of and approval by the Board of Membership and General Council, the PFMD has revised the Rules and Guidelines and increased the four Core Competencies to five.
