The PAQS Congress 2022 in Singapore (9-13 September 2022)
The Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors (PAQS) Congress 2022 was held at Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands Convention Centre from 9 to 13 September. The Congress was officiated by Ms Indranee Rajah of the Prime Minister’s Office, the Second Minister for Finance, and the Second Minister for National Development. She outlined two areas for participants to brainstorm and explore: (i) from cost to value and (ii) from dispute management/resolution to dispute prevention.

The theme of the Congress was “Disruption and Transformation in the Built Environment”. Delegates from over 12 countries/territories met to learn or discuss the latest developments in the aforementioned topic by focusing on disruptive technologies, transformative delivery, green concepts and wellness, and QS and cost management service transformation.
