Promotion of the Quantity Surveying Profession
The QSD always plays an active role in promoting the surveying profession to the general public. Every year, it makes a number of secondary school visits and hosts other forums to introduce general surveying and quantity surveying to students. After these talks, it hopes that some of those students will be more interested in the surveying profession and will study surveying at Hong Kong’s universities or the IVE before finally becoming members of the Institute.
