Raymond Kam is a qualified QS with over twenty four years of quantity surveying experience and in particular building services installation contracting. He is well conversant with the contract administration of building services works both in local and neighborhood region including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Dongguan and Macau. He has provided lectures and seminars on the building services measurement to the building services engineers and quantity surveyors of a local statutory authority and to the post-graduate and undergraduate students of a local university.

This seminar will provide an overview of the common problems encountered by Consulting QS in providing service in building services installations. The MEP works nowadays constitute a significant portion of the overall contract sum especially for large scale sized projects. The MEP systems have also been under constantly improvement and upgrading and which have posed certain amount of difficulties to the practicing QS.

 

 

In this seminar, Raymond will discuss the common problems, the normal practice, and the various observations that are commonly found in the day-to-day administration of MEP Works by Consulting QS.
