Speaker	:	Sr Chris Fung, FHKIS, FRICS, MCIArb, RPS(QS), PMP, Executive Director of AECOM Asia Co Ltd Sr Pak N Wan, MHKIS, MRICS, RPS(QS), Associate of Davis Langdon KPK (An AECOM Company) Chris Fung is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and an accredited Project Management Professional (PMP), with over 25 years experience in quantity surveying and project management. He has been the Discipline Leader of AECOM’s QS team in executing the contract strategy and preparing the contract documents for many mega-sized infrastructure projects in Hong Kong. Pak N Wan currently manages AECOM’s civil engineering QS team to prepare the bills of quantities (BQ) and cost estimates for projects, many of which are mega-sized infrastructure projects in Hong Kong. Pak is familiar with the practices and procedures for preparing tender documents and cost estimates and he is also an AECOM in-house trainer on civil engineering QS practice.

Details	:	In this talk, the speakers will share their experience and knowledge on the following: Formulation of contract strategy for mega-sized infrastructure projects in Hong Kong. Case study of the contract strategy of a mega-sized infrastructure project and the corresponding contract procurement arrangements. Documentation for a mega-sized infrastructure project highlighting features of BQ/Pricing Documents. Case study of the hybrid form of BQ of a mega-sized infrastructure project comprising major portion of building works and civil engineering works.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.
