Quantitative and Scientific Construction Consultancy and Training Co., Ltd. (QnS) has been established by several professional quantity surveyors. QnS mainly focus on providing consultancy and training services covering Building Information Modeling, BEAM plus green building assessment, quantity surveying, project management and risk management. The team consists

of fellow and members of HKIS and professional members of HKIBIM. QnS has substantial experience in BIM applications for Quantity Surveying in consultants, developers and contractors in Revit BIM environment. Experienced trainers from QnS will deliver the below four sessions of training course.

After completing this course, attendees should be able to use the BIM software to build models, and extract information for quantity surveying applications.

1. Online registration and PAYPAL are NOT accepted for this CPD event. Payment should be paid by cheque made payable to

“Surveyors Services Ltd”. One QSD CPD coupon can be used for each session of this CPD event.

2. In case of less than 20 applicants, the event will be cancelled.

3. Applicants can enroll in one or more sessions, however first priority would be given to applicants intended to attend ALL

four sessions.

4. A course certificate will only be issued to those who attend ALL Four sessions and satisfy the attendance requirements.

5. Attendance record will be issued for attending not less than 2.5 hours per session.

6. No walk-in is accepted.

7. Member should register either 2014039A or 2014039B as they are the same Training Course.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.

3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
