Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEx) is ranked 6th in terms of market capitalization in the world and 2nd in Asia, whereas property sector is one of the significant constituents. Apart from developers and property investment firms in HKEx, many listed enterprises hold properties for their business operation and investment. How to communicate with shareholders and attract new investors from time to time is an important role of investor relations (IR) professionals. IRs tell story, guide earning and explain value of a company to investors as well as analysts who write research reports to recommend stocks to investors. To achieve the goal, IRs meet them through company visits, conduct global road shows, participate in investor conference held by investment banks, etc.

A GP Surveyor, being expert in property and construction sector, is consdiered a suitable candidate for an IR and provide added value to the sharesholders/investors of a listed company. In this seminar, Sr CP Cheng will introduce the role and function of IR professionals and the career opportunity to surveyors in this field. He will also tell the success formula and performance attributes for a good IR.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.
