From inception to completion, Sr Mak spent a total of four years to build his own house in Melbourne, almost full-time, and hands-on.

In this seminar, Sr Mak will go through the Melbourne approval procedures for small houses, the small construction practices and building process which uses materials and techniques rarely seen in HK.  He will also talk about the hassles he had faced during the whole process, since this was an unusual lengthy period for a small house to build.  He will use an extensive photo record in the presentation.  There will be an Q&A session, if time permits.
