Ir Eagle Mo has been a consultancy for over 18 years. In these 18 years, she has completed more than 100 projects, for example, the Beijing Olympic Games and the Macau Venetian complex. Those projects include energy review, energy audit, energy saving system design and project management, life cycle cost calculations, and LEED and HK BEAM certifications. In 2009, Ir Mo founded with partners for a company, Telemax Environmental and Energy Management Limited, specialising in building services, energy, environment and green building consultancy. Now, she is the Managing Director of this company.

Apart from practising in the construction industry, Ir Mo was also a visiting lecturer in facility management of the Hong Kong Institute of Vocational Education from 2007 to 2009, and now she is a visiting lecturer in the BSE Department of the Hong Kong Polytechnic University since 2009. With the extensive experience in the industry, Ir Mo was the President of the ASHRAE Hong Kong Charter in 2010-2011.

The concept of “Green Building” has increasingly become the focus of attention in the Hong Kong’s construction industry, to promote an environmentally, socially and financially sustainable built environment. 

 

 

 

Ir Eagle Mo will introduce the prevailing green building ratings in Hong Kong and worldwide, and will present how these rating systems can provide an equitable assessment tool to evaluate the green performance of buildings. 

 

 

 

 

The key contents of the seminar include the following:

 

  • Introduction of BEAM Plus and LEED, including their frameworks credits, intents and requirements;
  • The roles and responsibilities of BEAM Pro and LEED Accredited Professional; and

A case study will be presented.
