Vincent is a commercial litigation specialist, with a particular focus on construction matters. His principal areas of practice have included construction and engineering (front end and back end). He has advised clients and assisted in negotiations of most forms of construction contracts including design and construct contracts, Alliance contracts and PPP contracts. Vincent has also advised and acted for clients in construction disputes involving adjudication under the security for payment legislation, mediation, arbitration and litigation.

Most recently, Vincent has had day to day carriage of arbitrations involving a major bridge project in Hong Kong.

Vincent is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He was also accredited by the New South Wales Law Society as a construction litigation specialist. Vincent is also a member of the Society of Construction Law and the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia.

Following some pilot schemes, the NEC contracts are now being introduced in Hong Kong more widely.  Nick will examine how variations will be treated under NEC contracts and how it differs from the current Government form contracts.
