Details	:	Dear Young Surveyors, Let's have a "CHEER-FULL" tour with other young surveyors in this October!! This year, the HKIS Young Surveyors Group (YSG) sincerely present to you a 5D4N Qingdao study tour. Qingdao attracts many tourists due to its seaside setting and unique German architectures. Locating in the middle of the China's northern coastline, Qingdao has a prestigious physical location. For the unique German architectures, they were built during Qingdao being conceded to Germany from 1898 to 1914. During this period, the Germans outfitted the impoverished fishing village of Qingdao with wide streets, solid housing areas, government buildings, etc. Knowing that Qingdao has the prestigious seaside setting and unique historical background which are similar to that of Hong Kong, this study tour aims at studying how Qingdao utilizes the town planning and conservation works to enhance its competitive edges. Remarks	:	Closing Date: 5 August 2015 Online registration is NOT accepted for this CPD event. To register, please complete a standard reservation form along with the declaration form (as attached) and cheque payment and post to HKIS office by the closing date. Your reservation fee is non-refundable after your reservation has been accepted. Whether the event could be regarded as the PQSL event for Division's APC scheme or not shall be determined by the APC candidate's respective Division.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

1.	I confirm that I fully understand and accept the risk of joining the above visit. Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
