Speaker : Ms Michele Ho
Michele acquired her Bachelor’s Degree majoring in English Language from the Chinese University of Hong Kong before she gained her Master’s Degree in Education specialising in English Language Education. She is currently pursuing her Doctor of Education at the Chinese University of Hong Kong with a specialism in Curriculum and Instruction.

Michele has been working in education for more than 10 years, during which she spent her time educating mainly adults at universities as well as conducting corporate trainings for companies of various industries including Investment Banking, Logistics, Construction, etc. Her corporate clients include MTR Corp., Ka Wah Intl., UOB Group, Shangri-la Hotel, etc. For governmental and public bodies, Michele has been a trainer on writing skills for the Student Finance Office – Working Family and Student Financial Assistance Agency, Tung Wah Group of Hospitals, Salvation Army as well as the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers. Besides teaching and coaching, Michele is a writer of local textbooks and supplementary exercise books and she is also a columnist for SCMP and has been interviewed by Metro Radio and local newspapers regarding parental involvement in early childhood education relating to education.

In this talk, the speaker would like to achieve the following objectives:

  1. To strengthen participants’ English proficiency in writing action plans and reports;
  2. To enhance participants skills in preparing coherent, logical and reader-centered action plans/reports; and
  3. To let participants familiar with the appropriate structure and tone of effective reports on authentication.
