He has more than 30 years’ experience in materials engineering focusing on cement, concrete, dry mortars and various waterproofing materials. Currently, Prof. Wong is a Professor of Chu Hai College of Higher Education, and a part-time lecturer of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He is a Fellow of HKIE, Vice President of HKCI, Member of Technical Committee on the CoP for Mandatory Building Inspection Scheme (MBIS) of Buildings Department, Registered Inspector, Committee Member of HKIE Building Division and HKIE Training Committee, Member of Editorial Committee of HKIE Transaction, and HOKLAS Technical Assessor.

Details	:	Itinerary : 9:00 am – Gathering at Fu Tian Check Point, Shenzhen (深圳福田口岸) 9:15 am – Depart from Fu Tian 10:30 am – Briefing at Factory in Dongguan 10:45 am – Visit Dry Mortar Plant at Changan (Items 1 & 2 of the visit) 12:00 noon – Seminar on Dry Mortar Product (Item 3 of the visit) 1:00 pm – Lunch 2:30 pm – Re-visit Dry Mortar Plant (Item 2 of the visit) 3:00 pm – Depart from Dongguan 4:30 pm – Dismiss at Fu Tian Check Point, Shenzhen (The scheduled time may be changed so as to suit the actual conditions on the date of the visit.) (Successful registration will receive details of the visit.) The details of the visit are as follows:- Plant cruise for the production processes of dry mortar plant including sand drying, batching, mixing, packing and automatic palleting, etc. Product demonstration for ultra-early strength pre-packed concrete for highway and carport maintenance for resumption of traffic within two hours. Seminar on “Dry Mortar Product for Special Applications and their Cost Implications comparing with Conventional Products” for presenting special dry mortar products and their cost implications comparing with conventional products in real life cases.
Remarks	:	FULL Closing date: 27 February, 2016 Online registration is NOT accepted for this CPD event. Please fill in the attached Declaration Form together with Standard Reservation Form for this CPD event. First-come-first-served with duly completed Standard Reservation Form, Declaration Form and payment. Please equip with your own non-slip shoes. Please bring valid travel documents. Latecomers will NOT be picked up.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
