Sr Prof. Leung has 50 years’ professional experience in all kinds of land surveying, but in recent years specialized on cadastre and boundary survey, and consultancy on land boundary disputes. He has been engaged in hundreds of boundary dispute cases and attended as an expert witness in about 30 Court cases.

The speaker will discuss the factors that may cause the claim of Adverse Possession. He will express his personal opinion on the nature of these factors and analyse how these factors will constitute a genuine Adverse Possession or not.


The speaker will cite certain court cases to illustrate his opinion and discuss the role of a land surveyor in studying an Adverse Possession case, in preparing the study report and in presenting himself as the expert witness in the Court.
