BIM has been being developed over a decade.  Although Quantities Taking Off (QTO) is always one of the ultimate objectives of BIM, it has never been successful.  Professionals start having query on whether BIM can really take quantities, or if it can, how?

The talk will discuss on the challenges for BIM QTO that make it impossible or at least inaccurate.  The talk will also share successful experience of BIM QTO and its limitation.  The success factors for accurate measurement will also be discussed.
