The presentation is based on a research project “Industrial Land Use Changes in response to Economic Restructuring in Hong Kong” supported by the Public Policy Research Funding Scheme”. The current state of play of industrial premises, the concerned government policies and in particular four sectors including manufacturing, logistics, cultural and creative industries as well as start-ups were analyzed. Twelve recommendations were made with a view to truly optimizing the use of industrial premises in Hong Kong.
