The use of websites as media for communication between property management companies and owners, residents, tenants, and the general public is more popular than ever. The aim of this research project is to study the ways to use web-based property management tools to provide process enhancement to the property and facility management profession. The research team has investigated the status of development and usage of web-based property management systems (WPMS) through interviews with professional property managers and a questionnaire survey with residents from the estates with WPMS. The research team will present the results of the study at the seminar and share with the audience the insights of WPMS development in Hong Kong.
