Details	:	Itinerary : 8:45 am - Gathering at Siu Hong West Railway Station 9:00 am - Depart from Siu Hong West Railway Station 9:15 am - Brief introduction 9:45 am - Visit to Quarry 10:15 am - Visit to Concrete Batching Plant 11:15 am - Visit to Asphalt Manufacturing Site 11:45 am - Question and Answer 12:15 pm - Depart from Lam Tei Quarry 12:30 pm - Dismiss at Siu Hong West Railway Station (The scheduled time may be changed so as to suit the actual conditions on the date of the visit.) (Successful registration will receive details of the visit.) Excel Concrete Limited, a subsidiary of Wai Kee Holdings Limited, is one of the major concrete suppliers of ready mixed concrete in Hong Kong. Its associated companies, Faith Oriental Investment Ltd., and Excel Asphalt Ltd., operate quarry and asphalt manufacturing site respectively at Lam Tei. The Lam Tei Quarry is the only active quarry in Hong Kong, which can supply aggregate stably for local use without any concern on delayed shipment of aggregate outside Hong Kong. In this event, members will be guided to visit the quarry, concrete batching plant and asphalt manufacturing site at Lam Tei. The speakers will introduce the production processes of aggregate, ready mixed concrete and asphalt. They will also share their experiences on the technical and market information of aggregate, ready mixed concrete and asphalt supply.

Please fill in the attached Declaration Form together with Standard Reservation Form for this CPD event. First-come-first-served with duly completed Standard Reservation Form, Declaration Form and payment. Please equip with your own non-slip shoes. Latecomers will NOT be picked up.

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
