Ir Li is now practising as a barrister involving in various arbitration, as well as civil and criminal litigation cases. He also acts as arbitrator and mediator in various cases and projects involving commercial and construction matters. He is also appointed as dispute resolution advisor in a number of government construction projects.

Ir Li holds academic qualifications in the disciplines of engineering (BSc (Eng) at the University of Hong Kong), business administration (MBA at the Chinese University of Hong Kong) and law (LLM at City University of Hong Kong).

Before joining the legal profession, Ir Li had been working in the construction and commercial field for more than 20 years, involving in various construction and investment projects in both Mainland China and Hong Kong.
