Speaker	:	Mr. Kevin Lim, Architect and Art Enthusiast Kevin is the managing director and one of the partners of an award-winning interdisciplinary design studio founded in 2011. He was born in Melrose, Massachusetts and spent his life in Hong Kong and the United States. He received his Bachelor of Architecture from Cornell University’s College of Architecture, Art & Planning and an Associate of Applied Science from Le Cordon Bleu. He has worked in an architectural office in Boston, Massachusetts and is also a chef with experience in a restaurant in Wellesley, Massachusetts. As the managing director of his studio, Kevin led, managed, and delivered projects that won four Best-of-Year Awards by Interior Design magazine, and is a winner of Perspective magazine’s 40-under-40 Award. Ms. Kate Jones, Creative Consultant Kate is the owner of a Hong Kong based creative consultancy that provides full-scope design, marketing, business development and creative strategy services, and works with local and global companies to create their brand identities. She is also the co-founder and creative director of a gift studio, agency and shop based in Hong Kong with a support office in New Zealand. Kate received tertiary education in design management in New Zealand and gained extensive experience in the fields of design, production and creative strategy before she started her own consultancy. As a Co-founder of the Young Collectors Collective (YCC), Kate is growing a network of active, like-minded individuals who seek to redefine the notion of patronage towards art from and related to Asia.

Details	:	Attention Art Lovers! The Young Solicitors’ Group of the Law Society of Hong Kong is collaborating with the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority ("WKCDA") to bring to members an art appreciation themed Joint Professional Networking Drinks supported by the young members’ groups of the following organizations: The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors Hong Kong Institute of Architects Hong Kong Bar Association Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants Hong Kong Dental Association The Hong Kong Institute of Landscape Architects Hong Kong Medical Association Hong Kong Institute of Planners The event will include: Sharing by guest speakers on visual and performing arts appreciation as well as art collection, including a Q&A session (60 minutes); and Networking Drinks at Sensory ZERO café (inclusive of 2 tea/coffee and canapés).

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

1.	I confirm that I fully understand and accept the risk of joining the above visit. Under no circumstances shall The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors ("HKIS"), their staff or agents be held liable for the consequence of any accidents whether or not they are caused by the negligence of the HKIS, their staff and/or agents.
2.	Members participating in the above visit shall be in good health condition.
3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
