According to the statistics from the Government, about one fourth of the citizens of Hong Kong will reach the age of 60.  The needs of elderly service and residential care home for the elderly (RCHE) are increasing.  Under Residential Care Homes (Elderly Persons) Ordinance and its subsidiary regulations, RCHE is required to possess a license from the Director of Social Welfare.  The speaker will share the procedures and requirements on building and fire safety in order to get a license from the Licensing Office of Residential Care Homes for the Elderly.
