Speaker	:	Sr Marco Wu Moon-Hoi, GBS Chairman, Hong Kong Housing Society HKIS Past President (1991-1992) Sr Marco Wu is the Chairman of the Hong Kong Housing Society. He is a past President of The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and The Hong Kong Institute of Real Estate Administrators, and was a member of the Long Term Housing Strategy Steering Committee. Mr Wu is a Fellow of The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyors and The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. Sr Wu had served the Government for 39 years. He was the Deputy Director of Housing from 1996 to 2003 and the Director of Buildings from 2003 to 2006. During his 26 years with the Housing Department, he made significant contribution to the formulation and review of major housing policies. As Director of Buildings, he was responsible for developing policies and strategies governing the control and facilitation of private building developments. Sr Wu was awarded Silver Bauhinia Star in 2006 and Gold Bauhinia Star in 2014 for his dedicated service to the community.

Details	:	In the event: Part I (30 mins): Sr Wu will share his experience in public housing development and private building control and facilitation; Part II (60 minutes): Q&A Session. Participants are free to raise questions and exchange views with Sr Wu on floor. (Self-served coffee or tea will be provided and the dialogue in a causal atmosphere.)

1.	The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable.
2.	A registration number will be generated for each application. The registration number is unique and non-transferrable. Members cannot proceed to payment if they do not apply the CPD event and obtain the registration number through the HKIS website.
3.	Payment can be made by cheque or by Credit Card (Shanghai Commercial Bank Ltd. / American Express). Cheques should be made payable to “SURVEYORS SERVICES LTD.”. A separate cheque or Credit Card payment instruction form is required for each event/ application. You should write down the registration number and HKIS membership number at the back of your cheque. The HKIS Secretariat will update the payment status and your application will be confirm when HKIS Secretariat receive your payment.
4.	Payment by PayPal is also acceptable. Please register in our web site before the closing date for each event. Please be reminded that if you cannot settle the payment within 7 days from the date the HKIS Secretariat accepted your registration, your registration number will be invalid and your application will be rejected. Your name will not be included in the registration list and you cannot attend the concerned CPD event. (Not applicable for site visit / social event / joint event with other organisation)
5.	An official receipt which must be presented at the event, will be available for downloading from the "CPD Profile" under Members Corners when payment is received.
6.	Incomplete or wrongly completed registration will not be processed.
7.	In the event a Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above or Black Rainstorm Warning is hoisted, the event will be postponed and a new arrangement will be announced. Should the aforesaid warnings be lowered 4 hours before the event, the event will proceed as normal.
8.	If you have not received any reply from HKIS Secretariat within 7 days of the event, you may call the Secretariat at 2526 3679 to check the progress of your registration.
9.	The HKIS reserves the right of final decision and interpretation in the case of any disputes.

3.	While the HKIS has arranged Group Personal Accident insurance for members joining the above visit, members who have been accepted for joining the above visit can consider procuring an appropriate insurance policy to cover their own risks before attending the event.
4.	Claims related to COVID-19 and/or pandemics are excluded under the insurance policy procured by the HKIS.
